Every once in a while I get a request from a patron requesting a commissioned piece.  I’ve done a few custom t-shirts now and each time it has been a very enjoyable experience.  In fact I have come to realize something about myself through the process: I love to create – I love newness, in-fact I understand that my challenge in particular is the repetition of my designs, because on a personal level after I have made the first one – I’m done. 

All of the commissioned pieces that I have made thus far have been gifts to someone special.  And while working with my patrons they have given me some ideas as to what they want or ideas about the person and then I set my imagination to the task.  Each piece has been a journey.  If you are interested shoot me an email at c@christophertod.com and we may get the ball rolling.   Over and Out.

An overview of the process:

We start with a conversation either via telephone or through email and begin to hone the concept.  From there I begin to fine tune the idea until I make a preliminary design.  After your approval I will produce the commissioned garment on an article of your choosing – whether it be a vintage oxford a blazer or a bamboo t-shirt.  If for any reason you don’t like the work and do not wish to proceed we stop there. 

The pricing is as follows:

$120 Preliminary design
$230 For the custom piece*
Total: $350 plus s/h

*Price contingent on cost of the garment. For example a blazer or oxford would cost more than a t-shirt.  Multiples available starting at $36 per additional piece.
